Pogson-Bray Trust 27th Annual Brass Band Entertainment Contest

Thurcroft Welfare Band won the prize for the best 4th section band at the 27th Annual Brass Band Entertainment Contest organised by the Pogson-Bray Trust. The contest was held on Sunday 20th October 2013 and  featured 15 bands. It was held at Bertie@ La Cachette, Brook Street, Elland, Halifax.

"What a great day team Thurcroft, Controlled playing, balanced and well presented. We're still building a team, but we're nearly there, this is a great way to end the year contesting, we now have lots of work to do. Everything is heading in a great direction generally, keep up the fantastic work everyone.
