Comment: Very well done to everyone yesterday. A dissapointing result for a pretty good performance.I was well pleased with all sections of the band. Including principal 3rd cornet! Comment: I have been overwhelmed by the number of congratulatory messsages I have received regarding the concert at St Annes Church. The quality of playing, the choice of programme and the solo playing have all been mentioned in glowing terms. Organiser Ray Cunnington has also rang me tonight (Monday) to say that he too has been inundated with phone calls regarding the performance on Friday. Very well done to you all. Ken.

Comment: Yet another really good performance last night. The audience were most enthusiastic about the quality of the band and programme. I had great difficulty trying to eat and drink at the buffet afterwards with people passing on their congratulations. The training band debut went better than I expected. What a confident set of young players we have. Well done and thank you to all concerned.

Comment: Can I just say a huge "thank you" to everyone in the band on Saturday at Worksop College. It was a personal ordeal for me and you all helped me get through the concert. The news of Keith Wardle`s sad passing was hard enough but my own news really knocked me for a six. I really do appreciate all the kind words.
